The ERGODYNE 12712 is the Chill-Its 6668 Hi-Vis Safety Cooling Vest, a three-layer evaporative cooling garment built for workers on hot job sites who also need ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 2 high-visibility compliance. The outer shell meets Class 2 hi-vis requirements, a polymer-embedded mid-layer activates with water to deliver up to four hours of core cooling relief, and a water-repellent liner helps keep the wearer dry during use. Breathable mesh along the bottom reduces overall weight and promotes airflow while limiting water drip-through. The vest weighs approximately 0.56 pounds and is sized Small in Lime Green.

This cooling vest is designed for trade and infrastructure workers exposed to sustained heat: road construction crews, municipal field workers, baggage handlers, and similar roles where ANSI 107 compliance is required. Interior neckline loops allow a cooling towel to be inserted for additional neck cooling. Two lower interior pockets and one exterior chest pocket provide on-site storage. Installation Notes
