The ERGODYNE 12202 is a phase change cooling charge pack designed for use with the Chill-Its 6220 cooling vest system. It maintains a constant temperature of 64 degrees F (18 degrees C) for up to 4 hours, providing sustained cooling relief during high-heat work conditions. The pack features a patented honeycomb ice pack design that eliminates stiffness, allowing it to conform to the body without restricting movement. Sized for Large and XL vest fits, this pack is a direct replacement or additional insert for compatible Chill-Its 6220 vests. Safety managers, industrial hygienists, and workers in heat-intensive environments rely on this pack to meet OSHA heat stress management guidelines.
This charge pack is suited for use in industrial, construction, utility, and outdoor work environments where ambient temperatures create heat stress risk. It is compatible with the Chill-Its 6220 phase change cooling vest in Large and XL sizing. The recharge cycle is as short as 10 minutes, making it practical for use on job sites with access to cold water or ice. Its clear color allows visual confirmation of phase change state without removing the pack from the vest.

Insert the charge pack into the corresponding vest pocket with the cooling surface facing the body. Before first use and each recharge cycle, submerge the pack in cold water or ice until fully recharged to the solid phase change state. Do not microwave, heat, or expose the pack to sharp objects that could puncture the membrane. Recharge frequency will vary based on ambient temperature and physical exertion level.
