The ERGODYNE 10493 is an 18-gauge seamless HPPE polyester knit glove with a polyurethane-coated palm, designed for cut-hazard work environments. Rated ANSI A4 for cut resistance and certified to EN 388 4X42D, this glove also meets ANSI Level 3 for both abrasion and puncture resistance. The PU coating delivers a flexible, no-slip grip across dry and lightly oily surfaces while keeping the overall glove lightweight and low-profile. The seamless construction reduces pressure points and minimizes hand fatigue during extended wear. Installers, fabricators, and general tradespeople working with sheet metal, glass, or sharp materials rely on this glove for reliable cut protection without sacrificing dexterity.
The 10493 suits a wide range of trade applications where workers handle sharp-edged materials and still need to operate tools, controls, or touchscreens without removing their hand protection. The long seamless knit cuff fits snug at the wrist to block dirt and debris from entering the glove during tasks in tight or confined spaces. Touchscreen-compatible fingertips allow technicians and service pros to use smartphones or tablets on the job without interrupting workflow. Sold as one pair in size Medium, color gray.
Designed as a general-purpose cut-resistant work glove suitable for trade and industrial environments requiring ANSI A4 cut protection, including sheet metal handling, glazing, light fabrication, and assembly work.
Inspect gloves before each use for tears, worn coating, or degraded knit that could reduce protection. Replace immediately if the coating is peeling or the knit shell shows visible damage. Machine wash per manufacturer care instructions to maintain coating integrity and cut-resistance performance. Gloves should be selected as part of a complete PPE program in accordance with applicable OSHA hand protection requirements for the specific hazard level present on the job.
