Product Description

The ENERCO HSSVFRD30LPBT is a 30,000 BTU/h vent-free infrared radiant heater designed for liquid propane operation. It delivers heat through electromagnetic radiation, warming objects and surfaces in the space rather than simply heating the air. The unit draws 185 CFM through an included blower fan and features electronic push-button ignition with thermostatic control. A built-in low-oxygen shutoff sensor (ODS) provides automatic safety protection. CSA and ANSI certified, this heater is suited for installation by qualified gas technicians in residential and light commercial supplemental heating applications.

The HSSVFRD30LPBT is rated to supplement heat in spaces up to approximately 750 square feet. It is well suited for uninsulated or semi-conditioned spaces such as garages, workshops, and unfinished basements where radiant heat is effective regardless of air circulation. Both a wall-mount bracket and base feet are included, allowing floor or wall installation. The unit runs on liquid propane and continues to produce radiant heat during power outages, though the blower will not operate without electrical power. Installation Notes

Installation must be performed by a licensed gas technician in accordance with the National Fuel Gas Code (NFPA 54) and all applicable local codes. Shut off the propane supply at the tank or service valve before connecting or disconnecting any gas fittings. Minimum required clearances are 36 inches above the unit to the ceiling, 3 inches below the unit to the floor when using base feet, and 10 inches to either side wall. For wall-mount installations, a mounting height of 36 inches from the floor is recommended for accessibility and clearance compliance.
