The EMUGE TA219744.0435 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill from the EMUGE MultiDRILL Series TA219744, designed for high-performance drilling in a wide range of workpiece materials. The drill measures 4.35 mm in diameter and carries a TiAlN coating for extended tool life under demanding cutting conditions. It features a 140-degree self-centering point, web thinning for reduced thrust, and a double-margin configuration for improved hole quality and straightness. With a 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio and sub-micrograin carbide substrate, this drill is built for precision production environments where consistency and tool longevity are critical.
This drill is suited for general and precision metalworking applications across light manufacturing, machining centers, and job shops. Its universal workpiece material rating makes it appropriate for use in ferrous metals, non-ferrous alloys, and engineered materials. The straight cylindrical shank with 6 mm shank diameter seats directly in standard collet chucks and drill chucks. Coolant-through capability supports high-speed drilling cycles where internal chip evacuation and heat management are required. It is manufactured to DIN 6537 L specification, making it a suitable fit for European and North American precision machining standards.
Designed as a high-performance OEM-style carbide jobber drill for use in precision CNC machining centers, drill presses, and automated drilling equipment accepting a 6 mm straight cylindrical shank with standard collet or drill chuck toolholding.
Installation is typically performed by machinists or toolroom technicians. Ensure the machine spindle and toolholder are clean and free of debris before seating the shank. Use appropriate collet or chuck clamping torque as specified by the toolholder manufacturer. Verify coolant-through connections are properly engaged when using internal coolant supply to prevent dry running at the cutting edge.
