The EMUGE L0100100.5001 is a double-end plug thread gage designed to verify internal threads cut to the 2-56 Unified National Coarse specification at a 2B tolerance class. One end carries the Go member and the other the No Go member, allowing a technician to confirm both the minimum material condition and the maximum material condition in a single tool. Made from tool steel with a bright uncoated finish, it conforms to ASME B1.2 standards and ships with a short-form certification. A handle is included. This gage is used by machinists, quality-control inspectors, and precision assembly technicians working with small-fastener applications.
The L0100100.5001 is suited for inspection of 2-56 tapped holes in light-duty mechanical assemblies, electronics enclosures, instrumentation housings, and similar applications where fine unified threads must meet 2B class tolerances. It is appropriate for both incoming inspection and in-process quality checks on the shop floor or at a receiving bench.
Designed for gaging internal 2-56 Unified National Coarse threads manufactured to a 2B tolerance class per ASME B1.2.
Thread plug gages are used by quality inspectors and machinists and require no installation in the traditional sense. Before use, ensure the tapped hole is free of chips, coolant, and debris. Apply light hand pressure only when inserting the Go and No Go members - never force or torque the gage, as doing so can damage the gage or the part. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use to preserve calibration integrity.
