The EMUGE L0100100.0040 is a double-end plug thread gage used to inspect M4x0.7 internal threads to the 6H tolerance class. One end carries the Go member; the other carries the No Go member. Both ends are machined from tool steel with a bright finish and conform to DIN ISO 1502 standards. A handle is included, and a short-form certification ships with the gage. This tool is used by machinists, quality technicians, and precision tradespeople to verify that threaded holes meet dimensional acceptance criteria before parts proceed through assembly or inspection.
This gage is suited for production floor and inspection room use wherever M4x0.7 threaded holes must be verified to 6H class tolerances. Typical applications include incoming inspection, in-process quality control, and final acceptance testing of threaded components in metalworking, manufacturing, and general mechanical assembly environments. The compact double-end design allows both Go and No Go checks without switching tools.
Designed to inspect M4x0.7 internal threaded holes held to a 6H class tolerance per DIN ISO 1502.
Thread gages are inspection instruments, not cutting tools. Always clean the threaded hole before gaging to remove chips, oil, or debris that could give a false reading. The Go end should pass through the full thread engagement length under hand pressure only - never force it. The No Go end should not enter more than two turns; if it does, the hole is out of tolerance. Store the gage in its protective case when not in use to preserve calibration.
