The EMUGE GFR35106.5013 is a helical flute thread mill designed for cutting internal 1/2-13 UNC threads in a CNC machining environment. Built from micrograin solid carbide and coated with TiCN, this tool delivers the rigidity and wear resistance required for precision thread milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The 3-flute, right-hand helical geometry produces clean thread forms in a single helical interpolation pass. Cutting diameter is 0.3710 inches with a 1.0360-inch length of cut, allowing the mill to engage full thread depth on standard 1/2-13 applications. Coolant-through capability supports chip evacuation and tool life in deep-hole or high-production runs. Tool weight is 0.3 pounds.
This thread mill is intended for use on CNC machining centers capable of helical interpolation. It suits shops producing internal 1/2-13 UNC threaded features in materials where a solid carbide tool is specified - including alloy steels, stainless, aluminum, and cast iron. The 3/8-inch shank diameter fits standard ER or shrink-fit toolholders. Shank length is 1-9/16 inches. Typical applications include production machining of threaded holes where tap breakage risk is a concern or where a single tool must service multiple hole depths.
Designed for CNC machining centers capable of helical interpolation, accepting a 3/8-inch shank in ER collet, shrink-fit, or equivalent toolholding. Cuts internal 1/2-13 UNC threaded features per the UNC thread standard.
Installation and operation should be performed by a qualified CNC machinist or toolroom professional. Secure the 3/8-inch shank in a balanced, runout-controlled toolholder and verify tool projection before running. Program helical interpolation per the tool manufacturer's recommended feed and speed parameters for the workpiece material. Never use this tool in a manual drill press or non-interpolating spindle.
