The ELKAY RNSF82482 is a floor-mounted, double-compartment scullery sink built from 16-gauge Type 304 stainless steel for heavy-duty commercial and institutional use. Each of the two large, die-drawn compartments measures 24 inches wide by 24 inches front-to-back with a 12.75-inch depth, giving service staff ample room for high-volume pot washing and scullery work. Drain openings measure 3.5 inches, centered in each bowl, and the compartments are pitched for positive drainage. Exposed surfaces carry a satin finish, and coved interior corners reduce food and debris buildup between cleanings. Licensed plumbers and commercial kitchen equipment installers handle this fixture.
The RNSF82482 is designed for commercial kitchens, school cafeterias, healthcare food-service areas, and recreational facility kitchens where a durable, floor-mounted scullery sink is required. The full-length 8-inch backsplash features a 45-degree sloped top that sheds debris and accommodates plumbing penetrations through its 2-inch thickness. Stainless steel tubular legs with cross-brace supports carry the load, and adjustable bullet feet allow leveling on uneven floors. The faucet deck requires two holes, making it compatible with a range of wall-mount or deck-mount commercial faucet configurations.
Designed as an OEM-style floor-mount scullery sink for commercial and institutional plumbing systems requiring a double-compartment, floor-supported configuration with standard 3.5-inch drain fittings.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and verify drain rough-in locations before setting the sink. Level the unit using the adjustable bullet feet before making any drain or supply connections. Do not over-tighten drain fittings against the stainless steel bowls; use appropriate plumber's putty or gasket material as specified by the drain manufacturer.
