Elkay Residential PSDKR25170 Drop-in Sink 25x17 Stainless

Product Description

The ELKAY RESIDENTIAL PSDKR25170 is a drop-in single bowl sink constructed from 20-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. It measures 25 inches x 17 inches x 7.125 inches overall, with a rectangular basin measuring 16 inches in length and 13.5 inches in width. A 3.5-inch center drain placement supports standard drain fittings, and bottom sound-deadening pads reduce vibration and noise during use. The U-channel installation method allows mounting clips to be pre-positioned before drop-in, speeding up the countertop installation process. This sink is suitable for licensed plumbers and general contractors working in commercial, institutional, or residential settings.

The PSDKR25170 is designed for drop-in installation into countertops with a cutout dimension of 24.375 inches x 16.375 inches. The minimum cabinet size required is 30 inches. Typical applications include classrooms, healthcare facilities, public spaces, and residential kitchens where a durable single bowl sink with a polished stainless steel finish is specified. The sink ships as a single unit and is manufactured in the USA.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and disconnect the drain before removing an existing sink. The U-channel design allows mounting clips to be attached to the sink rim prior to setting it into the countertop cutout, then tightened from below. Do not overtighten mounting clips against fragile countertop materials without appropriate backing.
