Elkay Residential LR2219PD1 Drop-in Kitchen Sink Single Bowl

Product Description

The ELKAY RESIDENTIAL LR2219PD1 is a single-bowl drop-in kitchen sink fabricated from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. It measures 22 inches x 19.5 inches x 7.625 inches and drops into a countertop cutout of 21.375 inches x 18.875 inches. The sink ships with the LKPD1 Perfect Drain and strainer, which uses an edgeless drain configuration to eliminate the gap around the drain opening and channel food debris directly into the drain. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside to reduce vibration and water noise during use. Straight sidewalls and a flat bottom maximize usable bowl volume. Licensed plumbers and experienced kitchen remodelers are the typical installers.

This sink is suited for residential kitchen remodels, new construction kitchens, and laundry room installations requiring a drop-in single-bowl configuration. The 7.625-inch bowl depth accommodates tall cookware and stacked dishes. The minimum required countertop depth is 27 inches. U-channel mounting clips are included to secure the sink from below the countertop deck, reducing time spent during the under-counter portion of the installation.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified remodeler following local plumbing codes. Power to any adjacent garbage disposal or dishwasher circuit should be shut off at the breaker before beginning work. Apply a continuous bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the perimeter of the cutout before setting the sink, then secure the U-channel mounting clips from below. Do not overtighten mounting clips, as this can distort the sink flange or crack countertop material.
