Product Description

The ELKAY RESIDENTIAL LR20221 is a single-bowl drop-in kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a lustrous grain finish. The bowl measures 19.5 inches wide by 22 inches front-to-back by 7.625 inches deep, with straight sidewalls that maximize usable basin volume. A 3.5-inch center drain opening is standard. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside to reduce noise and vibration during use. The U-channel mounting system accepts standard mounting clips positioned inside the channel for a clean, secure installation. Compatible with countertops up to 0.75 inches thick. Made in the USA.

This sink is suited for residential kitchen and prep area installations where a drop-in configuration is required. The straight-wall single bowl design accommodates soaking, stacking, and washing tasks in a compact footprint. A minimum cabinet width of 24 inches is required. The scratch-resistant finish is designed to blend light surface marks over time. Elkay offers a separate restoration kit for deeper surface blemishes. Licensed plumbers and experienced trade installers are the typical service providers for this type of fixture.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed plumber following applicable IPC and local plumbing code requirements. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before removing any existing sink. Apply a continuous bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the cutout perimeter before setting the sink, then secure mounting clips evenly from below to seat the rim against the countertop. Do not overtighten clips on laminate or solid-surface countertops to avoid surface damage.
