Elkay Residential LKOBG1718SS Sink Bottom Grid

Product Description

The ELKAY RESIDENTIAL LKOBG1718SS is a stainless steel sink bottom grid designed for Elkay sink bowls with a rear center drain configuration. Measuring 15 inches x 15-15/16 inches x 1-1/4 inches, it fits bowls sized at 16-1/2 inches x 16-1/2 inches. The grid sits on elevated feet to promote drainage and reduce debris buildup on the sink floor. A positioned drain opening provides unobstructed access during cleanup. Built from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, this grid protects the bowl surface from scratches and daily wear while remaining dishwasher safe for straightforward maintenance. Plumbers and kitchen installers specify this accessory during sink finishing or as a replacement for worn grid protectors.

This grid is suited for residential kitchen sink installations where the bowl features a rear center drain. It fits as a direct accessory for compatible Elkay sink bowls measuring 16-1/2 inches x 16-1/2 inches. Typical install scenarios include new sink finishing, sink refits, and bowl protection upgrades in residential kitchens. The unit ships individually and is intended as a drop-in accessory requiring no tools or fasteners for placement.

Installation Notes

This grid requires no tools for installation - it drops directly into the sink bowl and rests on its own feet. Before placing or removing the grid during an active plumbing service call, shut off water supply valves as a standard precaution. Verify the bowl dimensions and drain position match the grid specifications before installation. Plumbers and kitchen installers handling sink accessory work should confirm drain opening alignment with the bowl drain during fitting.
