Elkay Residential LKCBEG1516HW Hardwood Cutting Board

Product Description

The ELKAY RESIDENTIAL LKCBEG1516HW is a hardwood cutting board designed to drop into compatible Elkay kitchen sinks, converting the bowl area into a working food prep surface. Constructed from sustainable hardwoods, the board measures 15-5/16 inches by 17-3/16 inches with a thickness of 1 inch, sized to seat flush in specific Elkay sink bowl configurations. The finished weight of 4.41 pounds keeps the board stable during use without making it cumbersome to lift out for cleaning. This accessory is suited for residential kitchens and is typically installed without tools by the homeowner or a plumbing contractor during a sink accessory fit-out.

This cutting board is intended for use with Elkay kitchen sinks featuring bowl interior dimensions of 15-1/8 inches x 16-3/8 inches or 15-1/4 inches x 16-1/8 inches. The board sits directly over the sink bowl, providing a chopping surface for fruits and vegetables while keeping prep waste contained above the drain. It is a practical add-on for residential kitchen remodels or new construction where an Elkay sink is already specified. Plumbing contractors and kitchen installers commonly source this board alongside the sink during rough-in or trim-out phases.

Installation Notes

No tools are required to place or remove this cutting board - it drops into the sink bowl and lifts out freely. Follow any applicable local plumbing codes when specifying sink accessories as part of a new installation. Hand washing and prompt drying are generally recommended for hardwood cutting boards to maintain surface integrity over time.
