Elkay Residential ILR3322R3 Drop-in Kitchen Sink

Product Description

The ELKAY RESIDENTIAL ILR3322R3 is a drop-in single-bowl kitchen sink with an integrated drainboard, constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. Overall dimensions are 33 inches x 22 inches x 7.625 inches, with a bowl measuring 16 inches x 16 inches. The lustrous grain finish is scratch-resistant, and the design uses straight sidewalls and a flat bottom to maximize usable basin depth. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside to reduce vibration and noise during use. A 3.5-inch center drain opening makes the sink disposal-ready. Installation uses a U-channel mounting system that reduces time spent working underneath the deck. This sink is manufactured in the USA and suited for residential kitchen applications.

The ILR3322R3 is intended for residential kitchen installations where a drainboard is needed alongside a full-size wash basin. The integrated drainboard channels water back into the bowl, keeping the surrounding countertop dry during dish washing, produce rinsing, and meal prep. The drop-in mounting style fits standard cabinet cutouts and is compatible with tile, laminate, solid surface, and stone countertops. Licensed plumbers and experienced installers handle this type of fixture replacement or new-construction rough-in, working to local plumbing codes and IPC standards.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified installer. Shut off the water supply and disconnect the drain assembly before removing any existing sink. The U-channel mounting system secures the sink to the deck from above, but fastener access from below is still required to complete the seal. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the perimeter of the cutout per the manufacturer specification and local IPC requirements before setting the sink.
