Elkay Residential ECTRU32179RTFCC Double Bowl Undermount Sink

Product Description

The ELKAY RESIDENTIAL ECTRU32179RTFCC is a 60/40 double bowl undermount kitchen sink kit built from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. It ships as a complete installation package, including a faucet and two deep strainer drains. The sink measures 31.5 inches x 18.5 inches x 9 inches overall, with a main bowl at 17 inches x 17 inches and a secondary bowl at 12 inches x 17 inches. Flat bottoms and straight sidewalls maximize usable basin volume. Rear drain placement keeps cabinet space open below, which simplifies garbage disposal positioning. Licensed plumbers and experienced remodelers handle typical installation.

This sink kit is designed for residential kitchen applications where an undermount configuration is specified. The 60/40 split bowl layout supports simultaneous tasks such as soaking and rinsing. A minimum cabinet width of 36 inches is required for proper fit. The included LKAV2061CR faucet and two LKDD deep strainer drains provide a matched set of components, reducing the need to source separate trim. The kit suits new construction and kitchen renovation projects where a modern geometric undermount sink is called for.

Installation Notes

Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable IPC requirements. Power down any in-sink disposal unit and shut off supply valves before beginning work. Undermount sinks require adequate countertop substrate support and appropriate silicone adhesive or mounting clips rated for the sink weight. Do not overtighten drain fittings against the stainless steel basins.
