Elkay Residential DLR312212MR2 Drop-in Kitchen Sink

Product Description

The ELKAY RESIDENTIAL DLR312212MR2 is a single-bowl drop-in kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. The overall sink measures 31 inches x 22 inches x 11.625 inches deep, with a usable bowl interior of 28 inches in length and 16 inches in width. A center drain opening of 3.5 inches accepts standard basket strainers and most garbage disposals. Bottom-only sound-deadening pads reduce vibration and noise during use. The sink is manufactured in the USA and carries a repairable satin finish that resists everyday scratching and can be restored with a standard stainless steel restoration kit. Licensed plumbers and skilled kitchen remodelers handle the typical installation.

This sink suits residential kitchen applications where a generous single bowl is needed for soaking, stacking, and washing large pots, pans, and sheet trays. The drop-in format fits standard countertop cutouts and uses U-channel mounting clips for undercounter securing, making it a practical choice for both new construction and kitchen remodel projects on laminate, tile, solid surface, and stone countertops.

Follow local IPC requirements for drain and supply connections, and confirm the countertop material can support the sink weight of 19.5 pounds before securing the mounting clips.
