Elkay Residential DLR2522121 Drop-in Kitchen Sink

Product Description

The ELKAY RESIDENTIAL DLR2522121 is a single-bowl drop-in kitchen sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. It measures 25 inches x 22 inches x 12.125 inches overall, with an interior bowl measuring 21 inches in length and 15.75 inches in width. The lustrous brushed finish resists everyday scratches and can be restored with a manufacturer restoration kit. Sound-deadening pads bonded to the underside reduce noise and vibration during use. A standard 3.5-inch drain opening accommodates most garbage disposals. This sink is designed for installation by a licensed plumber or experienced tradesperson in residential kitchen applications.

The DLR2522121 is suited for residential kitchen installations where a drop-in configuration is required. The spacious single bowl handles large cookware, baking sheets, and standard dishwashing tasks. The U-channel mounting system positions mounting clips inside the channel, giving installers better access during drop-in fitting from above the countertop. Manufactured in the USA, this sink fits a range of countertop materials including laminate, solid surface, and tile, making it a practical choice for both new construction and remodel projects.

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the countertop cutout perimeter prior to seating the sink to prevent leaks. Tighten mounting clips evenly and avoid over-tightening on laminate or tile countertops to prevent surface cracking.
