The ELKAY RESIDENTIAL DLR172210PD3 is a single-bowl drop-in kitchen sink made from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. It measures 17 inches x 22 inches x 10.125 inches overall, with a basin interior of 13.5 inches x 16 inches and a usable depth of 10 inches. The flat-bottom bowl and straight sidewalls maximize interior volume, making it practical for large cookware and multi-task washing. The Perfect Drain design closes the gap around the drain opening so food and debris clear directly into the drain without collecting at the edges. Sound-deadening pads bonded to the underside reduce vibration and noise during use. This sink is intended for installation by plumbers or experienced kitchen remodelers working on residential or light-duty applications.
The DLR172210PD3 is suited for drop-in installation in kitchen countertops and can also serve laundry room or utility applications. The countertop cut-out dimension is 16.375 inches x 21.375 inches, and the minimum cabinet size requirement is 21 inches. The sink ships with three pre-punched faucet holes, making it compatible with a wide range of standard faucet configurations. The LKPD1 Perfect Drain and strainer are included, along with mounting hardware rated for countertops up to 0.75 inches thick. Mounting clips are included to secure the sink to the countertop deck during installation.
Designed for drop-in installation in standard kitchen or utility countertops requiring a 16.375-inch x 21.375-inch cut-out and a minimum 21-inch base cabinet. Compatible with standard 3-hole faucet configurations. Includes the LKPD1 Perfect Drain and strainer.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson in accordance with local plumbing codes and the IPC. Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain and supply lines before beginning removal of any existing fixture. Apply a continuous bead of plumber's putty or silicone sealant to the sink rim before setting into the cut-out, then secure evenly with the provided mounting clips working from the underside. Do not overtighten mounting clips, as this can distort the sink rim or damage the countertop surface.
