Elkay LRADQ1919551 Single Bowl Kitchen Sink Ada

Product Description

The ELKAY LRADQ1919551 is a single-bowl, drop-in stainless steel kitchen sink built for residential and light commercial applications. Constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a Lustertone finish, it delivers a durable, scratch-resistant surface that holds up under daily use. The sink measures 19.5 inches x 19 inches x 5.5 inches overall, with a rectangular bowl interior of 16 inches in length and 13.5 inches in width. A rear-center drain placement keeps the cabinet space below open and organized. Sound-deadening pads are applied to the underside to reduce basin noise during use. Licensed plumbers and experienced kitchen installers work with this unit routinely.

This sink is suited for residential kitchens, prep areas, wet bars, and laundry rooms. It requires a minimum cabinet width of 24 inches and accepts a single faucet hole configuration. The Quick-Clip mounting system allows the sink to be secured from above the countertop, reducing the need to work inside the cabinet during installation. When properly installed, the sink meets ADA compliance requirements. Included hardware is sized for countertops up to 0.75 inches thick. The Lustertone finish is field-repairable, meaning minor deep scratches can be addressed without replacing the unit.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson in accordance with local plumbing codes. Shut off the water supply and disconnect any existing drain connections before removing an existing sink. The Quick-Clip system secures the sink from above the deck, but the countertop cutout must be sized to the manufacturer's template before setting the sink. Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealant around the sink perimeter as required by code and manufacturer guidance to ensure a watertight seal.
