The ELKAY LK500HA08T6 is a single hole deck-mount faucet designed for commercial and institutional plumbing installations. Built from solid brass, it features an 8-inch high arc spout that rises to 11.625 inches in overall height, providing clearance for filling pots or washing large items. The 6-inch wristblade handles allow for easy operation in environments where hand cleanliness is critical. A quarter-turn ceramic disc valve delivers precise control over water temperature and flow. The faucet ships with a 1.5 GPM vandal-resistant aerator installed, plus interchangeable 2.2 GPM and 0.5 GPM aerator inserts. Licensed plumbers and commercial plumbing contractors are the primary installers for this type of fixture.
The LK500HA08T6 is suited for commercial kitchens, institutional facilities, classrooms, and high-traffic restroom or utility sink applications. Its single-hole deck mount configuration keeps countertop cutout requirements minimal. The spout swing restrictor pin locks spout position where a fixed orientation is required by the installation layout. The wristblade handle design is common in healthcare and food-service environments where hands-free or wrist-operated control is preferred. This faucet meets ADA compliance requirements and carries NSF/ANSI 61 and NSF/ANSI 372 certification for lead-free construction, satisfying federal and state plumbing regulations.
Designed as an OEM-style single hole deck-mount faucet for commercial sinks, institutional utility sinks, and classroom or food-service sink installations requiring a one-hole configuration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC requirements. Shut off the water supply lines and relieve system pressure before beginning any faucet installation or removal. The deck-mount configuration requires a single faucet hole in the sink deck or countertop. Do not overtighten mounting hardware against the sink deck, as this can crack porcelain or damage composite sink surfaces.
