Product Description

The ELKAY LK422L4 is a 4-inch centerset lavatory faucet built from solid brass with a chrome finish, designed for deck-mount installation in commercial and residential plumbing applications. It features a single-control wristblade handle that allows straightforward flow and temperature adjustment. The integral spout stands 5.125 inches tall with a 4.75-inch reach, delivering a flow rate of 0.5 gallons per minute. The faucet meets NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 lead-free standards and carries ADA compliance certification. Licensed plumbers and facility maintenance professionals typically specify this fixture for high-use environments where durability and code compliance are required.

The LK422L4 suits two-hole deck-mount sinks in a range of settings including schools, healthcare facilities, commercial restrooms, and residential bathrooms. Its wristblade handle design is common in institutional environments where hands-free or minimal-contact operation is preferred. The faucet ships as a single unit and fits standard 4-inch centerset sink configurations. No specialty rough-in or custom cutout is required beyond the standard two faucet holes.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and relieve line pressure before beginning any faucet work. Verify that the sink deck accommodates two faucet holes on 4-inch centers before mounting. Do not overtighten mounting hardware against the deck surface, as solid brass fittings can be damaged by excessive torque.
