The ELKAY ECTSRAD25226TBG2 is an 18-gauge, Type 304 stainless steel single-bowl kitchen sink from the Crosstown collection. It measures 25 inches by 22 inches by 6 inches overall, with a bowl interior of 22.50 inches by 16.75 inches. The flat bottom and tight-corner rectangular bowl maximize usable basin space and simplify cleaning. A slim rim profile supports both drop-in and undermount installation. Sound Guard technology - full spray sound-deadening pads applied to the sides and bottom - reduces operational noise. A rear-center drain placement with a 3.5-inch opening is compatible with standard garbage disposals. Licensed plumbers and finish carpenters typically handle installation of this sink kit in residential kitchen settings.
The ECTSRAD25226TBG2 is suited for residential kitchen installations where a single large basin is preferred for heavy dish-washing tasks. The ADA-compliant design meets accessibility requirements for residential projects. A minimum cabinet width of 30 inches is required. Included installation hardware (Part 64090022) accommodates countertops ranging from 3/4 inches to 1-1/2 inches thick. The kit also includes a CTXBG2115 bottom grid, which protects the bowl finish and keeps dishware elevated off the basin floor.
Requires a minimum cabinet opening of 30 inches. Installation hardware accommodates countertops from 3/4 inches to 1-1/2 inches thick. The 3.5-inch rear-center drain is compatible with most standard garbage disposal flanges and strainer assemblies.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and disconnect existing drain lines before removing any existing sink. For undermount installations, verify that the countertop substrate is rated for the mounting method and that adequate support is in place before setting the sink. Do not overtighten mounting clips, as this can distort the rim or damage the countertop.
