The ELKAY ECTSRA33229TBG2 is an 18-gauge stainless steel dual mount kitchen sink designed for drop-in or undermount installation in residential kitchens. It measures 33 inches x 22 inches x 9 inches overall and features two equal-sized rectangular bowls, each 14.75 inches in length and 16.75 inches in width. The low-profile Aqua Divide center divider sits lower than a standard divider, allowing oversized items such as baking sheets to span both bowls during washing. Sound-dampening spray coating on the sides and bottom, combined with sound-deadening pads, reduces operational noise. Tight corners and a flat interior bottom maximize usable bowl space and simplify cleaning. This sink is part of the Elkay Crosstown collection and is installed by licensed plumbers or experienced trade professionals.
The ECTSRA33229TBG2 is suited for residential kitchen installations where a double-bowl sink with flexibility for large cookware is required. The ultra-slim rim profile reduces the visible gap between sink and countertop for both drop-in and undermount configurations. A minimum cabinet width of 36 inches is required for proper fit. The 3.5-inch drain opening on each bowl is compatible with standard garbage disposals. Two CTXBG1315 bottom grids are included to protect the stainless steel surface from scratches and to elevate items off the bowl floor. Mounting clips are pre-positioned inside the U-Channel, reducing the time required to reach under the sink during installation.
Designed for drop-in or undermount installation in kitchen countertops with a minimum cabinet width of 36 inches. The 3.5-inch drain openings are compatible with standard garbage disposals. Included bottom grids are model CTXBG1315. Part of the Elkay Crosstown collection.
This sink is typically installed by a licensed plumber. Shut off the water supply and disconnect any existing drain or supply lines before removing an existing sink. Follow local plumbing code requirements, including IPC guidelines, for drain connection and disposal wiring if a garbage disposal is added. For undermount installation, ensure the countertop substrate is adequately supported to bear the sink weight before applying adhesive or mechanical fasteners.
