Elkay ECTRU30179RTFMC Undermount Kitchen Sink 31.5x18.5

Product Description

The ELKAY ECTRU30179RTFMC is a single-bowl undermount kitchen sink built from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel. It measures 31.5 inches x 18.5 inches with a 9-inch bowl depth, giving plumbers and installers a spacious, rectangular basin suited to residential kitchen remodels and new construction. The flat bottom and tight corners maximize usable basin area and simplify cleaning. A rear-right offset drain placement frees up under-sink cabinet space and improves compatibility with standard garbage disposals via a 3.5-inch drain opening. Full-spray sound-deadening pads and undercoating are applied to the exterior to reduce vibration and basin noise during use. This kit ships with the LKAV2061MBCR faucet and LKDD deep strainer drain included.

This sink is intended for undermount installation in residential kitchen countertops. The 9-inch bowl depth accommodates large cookware including sheet pans and stockpots. The kit configuration makes it a practical choice for kitchen remodel contractors and plumbers completing a full sink-and-faucet rough-in in a single order. The included faucet (LKAV2061MBCR) and deep strainer drain (LKDD) reduce the need for separate accessory sourcing on the job site.

Installation Notes

Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and disconnect drain lines before removing any existing sink. Undermount installation requires adequate countertop substrate support and appropriate silicone adhesive and mounting hardware for the countertop material type. Verify garbage disposal compatibility and drain rough-in location before finalizing the countertop cutout.
