The ELKAY COMMERCIAL SS82604 is a floor-mount, double-compartment scullery sink built for heavy-duty use in commercial environments. Fabricated from 14-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a satin finish, it measures 63 inches long by 27.5 inches wide by 14 inches deep overall. Each of the two bowls measures 30 inches in length by 24 inches in width by 14 inches deep, providing ample capacity for high-volume warewashing. A unique channel rim with a 2-inch apron runs the perimeter to contain spills and keep the surrounding work surface dry. Four faucet holes are pre-drilled for flexible plumbing configurations. This sink is installed by licensed plumbers in commercial foodservice, healthcare, school, and recreational facility settings.
The SS82604 is designed for commercial installations where large-volume washing, rinsing, and scullery operations are performed continuously. Its deep 14-inch bowls accommodate full hotel pans, large stockpots, and oversized utensils. The full-length 8-inch backsplash features a sloped profile that resists grime buildup and simplifies cleaning between service periods. Four LK251 adjustable tubular stainless steel legs support the unit and allow up to 1 inch of height adjustment to suit floor conditions or ergonomic requirements. Typical installations include commercial kitchens, cafeteria scullery areas, school food prep rooms, and healthcare facility utility rooms.
Designed as an OEM-style floor-mount scullery sink for commercial kitchens, schools, healthcare facilities, and recreational venues requiring heavy-duty double-compartment sink installations. No minimum cabinet size requirement.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply completely before making any drain or supply connections. Verify floor levelness before final leg adjustment to ensure the sink sits stable and drains properly. Do not overtighten drain basket fittings against the stainless steel bowl to avoid distortion of the drain seat.
