Elkay BLRQ151 Stainless Steel Bar Sink 15x15 Drop-in

Product Description

The ELKAY BLRQ151 is a single-bowl drop-in bar sink constructed from 18-gauge Type 304 stainless steel with a lustrous, scratch-resistant finish. Measuring 15 inches x 15 inches x 7.125 inches overall, the rectangular bowl interior measures 12 inches in length by 9.25 inches in width, providing a functional washing area in a compact footprint. The sink features a 2-inch center drain opening and a single faucet hole cutout. Sound-deadening pads are bonded to the underside to reduce noise and vibration during use. Licensed plumbers and experienced installers handle this type of fixture in both residential and light commercial settings.

The BLRQ151 is suited for bar areas, prep stations, and beverage centers where counter space is limited but a dedicated washing basin is needed. The drop-in configuration allows installation from above the countertop using the Quick-Clip mounting system, reducing labor time compared to undermount methods. A minimum cabinet size of 18 inches is required. The Type 304 stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for both home wet bars and light commercial prep environments where sanitation and durability are priorities.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified installer. Shut off water supply lines before beginning any sink swap or rough-in work. Verify the countertop cutout dimensions and cabinet clearance meet the 18-inch minimum requirement before mounting. Follow local plumbing code requirements for drain connection and faucet installation; the Quick-Clip system secures the sink from above without requiring access from below the deck.
