Elk Products, Inc. AEWF Alarm Engine Wi-fi Module

Product Description

The ELK PRODUCTS, INC. AEWF is a Wi-Fi module designed to add wireless network connectivity to compatible Alarm Engine control panel systems. It enables the control panel to communicate over a standard Wi-Fi network, supporting remote access, monitoring, and integration functions that require a network connection. Licensed security system installers and low-voltage technicians are the primary trades that specify and install this accessory. The AEWF is sold as a single unit and fits into the control panel accessory ecosystem where wired Ethernet is unavailable or impractical.

The AEWF is intended for use with Alarm Engine control panel platforms in residential and light commercial security system installations. It is categorized as a control panel accessory, meaning it expands or enhances the base panel rather than functioning as a standalone device. Typical installation scenarios include retrofit projects where Wi-Fi connectivity is being added to an existing Alarm Engine system or new installations where a wireless network path is preferred over a wired connection.
