The ELECTRO HARDWARE P593M09F16-832 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to create fixed spacing between PCBs, chassis panels, or mounting surfaces in electronic assemblies. Machined from 18-8 and Grade 303 stainless steel with an anodized bright finish, it meets the QQ-S-763 fastener standard for corrosion resistance and dimensional consistency. The standoff measures 1.5 inches overall length with a 0.25 inch width across flats and accepts an 8-32 female thread. It is installed by electronics technicians, panel builders, and field service engineers working on control boards, drives, and enclosure assemblies across HVAC, industrial, and electrical applications.
This standoff is suited for use in residential and commercial equipment where printed circuit boards require rigid, non-contact mounting with defined clearance. Typical applications include control board assemblies in HVAC equipment, variable frequency drives, power supply enclosures, and electrical panel sub-assemblies. The hex body profile allows installation with standard open-end or box wrenches without the risk of slipping during torque-in. The female thread accepts a machine screw from the mating board side.
Designed as a standard 8-32 female hex circuit board standoff for use in PCB mounting applications requiring a 1.5 inch standoff height and 0.25 inch hex body in inch-measurement assemblies.
Installation is typically performed by electronics technicians or licensed electricians during control board assembly or replacement. De-energize all circuits and discharge any stored energy before working inside electrical enclosures or control panels. Use an appropriately sized open-end or box wrench on the hex body to drive the standoff; avoid pliers or grips that may deform the hex flats. Follow applicable NEC and equipment manufacturer guidelines when mounting control boards inside HVAC or electrical enclosures.
