The ELECTRO HARDWARE P577M03F21-832 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to create fixed spacing between a printed circuit board and a chassis, enclosure wall, or secondary board. Threaded 8-32 on the female interior, the standoff accepts a machine screw from either direction to secure and stack PCBs at a consistent height. The body is machined from brass and finished with clear zinc chromate plating, meeting ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-B-626 Comp 22 standards. The hex profile allows tool engagement with a wrench or nutdriver for positive torque without marring adjacent board surfaces. Overall length is 1.25 inches with a width across flats of 0.25 inches.
This standoff is suited for electronics assembly, control board mounting, and panel fabrication work in HVAC equipment, electrical enclosures, industrial controls, and similar applications. Installers and electronics assembly techs use this type of hardware when building up or servicing control board assemblies that require rigid, non-conductive-gap spacing with a threaded mechanical connection. The brass construction with zinc chromate finish provides corrosion resistance appropriate for indoor control panel environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-build hardware component for circuit board assemblies requiring 8-32 female hex standoffs with a 1.25-inch overall length.
Installation is performed by electronics assembly technicians or field service personnel working on control panel and PCB assemblies. Always power down and de-energize the control panel or equipment fully before handling circuit boards or installing standoffs. Use an appropriately sized nutdriver or open-end wrench to engage the hex flats and avoid over-torquing, which can crack the PCB mounting hole or strip the brass threads. Follow applicable equipment manufacturer guidelines and local electrical codes when reassembling control enclosures.
