The ELECTRO HARDWARE P561M06F16-440 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to create precise spacing between PCBs, panels, and chassis in electronic assemblies. Machined from aluminum alloy to material grade T-3 and finished with an anodized bright coating, this standoff meets QQ-A-225A Comp 2 specification. It features a 4-40 female thread, a 1 inch overall length, and a 1/4 inch hex body width across flats. The hexagonal body allows wrench engagement for accurate torque control during installation. This hardware is used by electronics assemblers, electrical panel builders, HVAC control board technicians, and field service technicians working with control systems.
This standoff is suited for residential and commercial electronic control assemblies where a threaded female-to-female or male-to-female board mounting solution is needed. The 4-40 thread size is standard in low-voltage control boards, relay panels, and similar equipment. The 1 inch overall body length provides a fixed standoff distance of 1 inch between mating surfaces. Anodized aluminum construction offers corrosion resistance in typical indoor panel and equipment cabinet environments.
Designed as a standard 4-40 female hex standoff for use in circuit board mounting applications where a 1 inch spacing height and 1/4 inch hex body are required. Consult your assembly drawing or BOM to confirm thread size, overall length, and hex width before installation.
De-energize all equipment and discharge any stored energy before installing or removing circuit board hardware. Use a properly sized hex wrench or nut driver matched to the 1/4 inch across-flats dimension to avoid rounding the hex body. Do not overtighten - aluminum threads are susceptible to galling and stripping when excessive torque is applied. Installation in commercial electrical enclosures should conform to applicable NEC requirements for panel construction and component mounting.
