The ELECTRO HARDWARE P333M03F21440 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to provide fixed spacing and electrical isolation between PCBs and mounting surfaces. Manufactured from brass with a clear zinc chromate (zinc-plated) finish that meets ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-B-626 Comp 22 standards, this standoff features a 4-40 female thread, a 7/8 inch overall length, and a 3/16 inch width across flats. The hex body allows for secure wrench-driven installation. It is fully threaded with a 7/8 inch thread depth, accepting a mating screw for the full length of the bore. Electronics technicians, panel builders, and field service personnel working on control boards in HVAC, electrical, and industrial applications commonly install this hardware.
This standoff is suited for circuit board mounting applications where a fixed, threaded female receptacle is required to stack or secure PCBs inside control enclosures, electrical panels, or equipment chassis. Its inch-system 4-40 thread size is standard across a wide range of control boards found in residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, industrial controls, and electronic assemblies. The brass base material and zinc plating provide corrosion resistance appropriate for indoor panel and board-mounting environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service standoff for circuit board mounting applications using 4-40 inch-series threaded hardware in residential and commercial control enclosures.
Installation is performed by electronics technicians or qualified service personnel. De-energize and lock out all power to the control board or panel before removing or installing standoffs. Use a properly sized hex driver or wrench matched to the 3/16 inch width across flats to avoid rounding the hex body. Do not over-drive; secure snugly to prevent board movement without distorting the brass body or cracking the PCB mounting hole.
