The ELECTRO HARDWARE P309M03F21256 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to create fixed, threaded spacing between printed circuit boards and mounting surfaces. The body is machined from brass with a clear zinc chromate finish that meets ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-B-626 Comp 22 standards. It features a 2-56 female thread, an overall length of 0.5 inches, and a width across flats of 0.1875 inches (3/16 inches). The fully threaded interior accepts a 2-56 male fastener to the full thread depth of 0.5 inches. Electronics technicians, PCB assembly professionals, and HVAC controls installers use this standoff wherever board-to-board or board-to-chassis separation is required.
This standoff is suited for use in low-voltage control board assemblies, industrial electronics enclosures, and instrument panels. Its compact 0.1875-inch hex body fits into tight board layouts where clearance is limited. The brass base material offers good conductivity and corrosion resistance, making it appropriate for both indoor control panel assemblies and electronics manufacturing environments. It is sold and packaged individually.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install hex standoff for circuit board assemblies using 2-56 inch-series fasteners.
Installation is performed by electronics technicians or controls professionals. Power down and de-energize any circuit board assembly before installing or removing standoffs. Use an appropriately sized hex driver or nut driver to avoid rounding the 0.1875-inch flats. Ensure mating fasteners are 2-56 thread to prevent cross-threading or stripping the brass body.
