The ELECTRO HARDWARE MS1021M04F16F is a round, female unthreaded circuit board spacer machined from Aluminum Grade T3 to fastener standard QQ-A-225A Comp 2. It accepts an M4 screw and measures 11 mm (approximately 0.433 inches) overall length with a 6 mm (approximately 0.236 inches) outside diameter and an inside diameter ranging from 4.2 to 4.8 mm (approximately 0.165 to 0.189 inches). The uncoated bright finish leaves the aluminum surface bare, which suits applications where added coatings would interfere with tight dimensional tolerances. Electronics technicians and PCB assembly professionals use this spacer to maintain precise standoff distances between a circuit board and a mounting surface or between stacked boards.
This spacer is suited for metric-fastener PCB assemblies in light industrial, commercial electronics, and control-panel applications where consistent board separation and reliable M4 thread engagement are required. Its compact outside diameter of 6 mm makes it appropriate for densely populated boards where clearance between components is limited. The female unthreaded body allows an M4 screw to pass through or seat against the spacer without threading into the spacer itself, simplifying removal and reinstallation during service.
Designed as a metric M4 round circuit board spacer for use in PCB standoff and board-stacking applications requiring a female unthreaded aluminum spacer with a 6 mm outside diameter and 11 mm overall length.
Installation is performed by electronics technicians or electricians working on control panels and PCB assemblies. Power down and de-energize the board assembly fully before installing or removing spacers. Use correctly sized M4 fasteners to avoid deforming the unthreaded bore. Follow applicable IPC assembly standards and any equipment-specific torque requirements provided by the board or enclosure manufacturer.
