The ELECTRO HARDWARE MP445M19F16M2.5 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to mount and space printed circuit boards within electronic enclosures and assemblies. Made from nylon with a plain, uncoated finish, this standoff accepts an M2.5 x 0.45 thread and provides a 4.8 mm thread depth for secure fastener engagement. The overall length is 23.0 mm, and the hex body measures 4.5 mm across the flats for easy installation with standard hex tooling. It meets the MIL-P-17091B fastener standard. Electronics technicians and OEM assembly workers install these standoffs in control boards, enclosure panels, and PCB mounting applications where non-conductive spacing is required.
This standoff is suited for use in low-voltage circuit board assemblies across commercial and residential electronics, HVAC control panels, and industrial enclosures. De-energize all equipment fully before servicing circuit board assemblies. Use an appropriately sized hex driver or wrench on the 4.5 mm flats to avoid stripping the nylon body. Do not overtighten fasteners into the threaded bore, as nylon has a tensile strength of 16,500 psi and can crack under excessive torque. Follow applicable electronic assembly guidelines and enclosure manufacturer specifications when determining standoff placement and fastener length.
