The ELECTRO HARDWARE MP439M03F21M2.5 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to separate and secure printed circuit boards within electronic enclosures and control assemblies. Machined from brass with a clear zinc chromate (zinc-plated) finish that meets ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-B-626 Comp 22 standards, this standoff accepts an M2.5 x 0.45 thread and provides 4.80 mm of thread engagement depth. The overall length is 20 mm, and the hex body measures 4.50 mm across flats, allowing installation and removal with standard hex drivers. It is installed by electronics technicians, control panel builders, and HVAC equipment assemblers working with metric-threaded PCB mounting systems.
This standoff is suited for residential and commercial electronic control boards, HVAC control panel assemblies, and industrial PCB mounting applications where metric hardware is required. The female thread configuration allows a mating screw to pass into the standoff from one side while the standoff itself threads into a chassis or mating fastener on the opposite side, creating a secure, elevated mounting post for the board. Minimum order quantity is 10 pieces.
Designed for use in metric PCB mounting applications requiring M2.5 x 0.45 female threaded standoffs with a 20 mm overall length and hex body profile.
Installation is typically performed by electronics technicians or control panel assemblers. Power down and de-energize all equipment before servicing circuit board assemblies. Use a hex driver or nut driver sized to the 4.50 mm across-flats dimension to avoid rounding the hex body. Do not overtighten, as brass threads can be damaged by excessive torque on small metric fasteners.
