The ELECTRO HARDWARE MP437M19F16M2.5 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to create threaded mounting points between PCBs and chassis surfaces or between stacked boards. Manufactured from nylon with a plain (bright/uncoated) finish, this standoff features a fully threaded M2.5 x 0.45 internal thread running the full 19 mm body length, making the entire length usable for thread engagement. The hex body measures 4.5 mm across flats for wrench or socket installation. With a tensile strength of 16,500 psi and conformance to MIL-P-17091B, it is suited for electronic assemblies requiring a non-conductive, corrosion-resistant spacer. Electronics assemblers and PCB-level service technicians are the primary installers.
This standoff is used in electronic control boards, panel-mount assemblies, and enclosure builds where non-conductive spacing between boards or between a board and a mounting surface is required. Typical applications include HVAC control board assemblies, industrial electronics, and general PCB stackup configurations. The metric M2.5 x 0.45 thread pitch is a common sizing in board-level hardware across both residential and light commercial electronic systems. Avoid overtightening nylon standoffs — nylon material is not rated for the same torque as metal hardware and can crack or strip under excessive force. Follow applicable assembly documentation for board spacing and mounting sequence.
