The ELECTRO HARDWARE MP411M03F21M3 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to create precise spacing between stacked PCBs or between a circuit board and a mounting surface. Machined from brass with a clear zinc chromate plating, this standoff meets ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-B-626 Comp 22 finish standards. The M3 x 0.5 internal thread runs the full 6 mm body length, providing solid thread engagement throughout. At 4.5 mm across flats, the hex body accepts a standard wrench or socket for secure installation and removal. Electronics assemblers, PCB technicians, and electricians use this fastener in control panels, enclosures, and circuit board assemblies.
This standoff is suited for metric-threaded PCB mounting applications in both commercial and industrial electronics. The fully threaded 6 mm bore allows a mating male screw to engage the entire thread depth, maximizing pull-out strength in low-clearance board stacks. It is commonly installed in control board assemblies, power supply enclosures, and industrial equipment where repeatable board-to-board spacing is required. Its compact hex profile keeps the footprint tight in dense board layouts.
Designed for use with M3 x 0.5 metric male screws and threaded PCB mounting hardware in standard circuit board standoff applications.
Installation is performed by electronics technicians and electricians during board assembly or panel wiring. De-energize all circuits before servicing any control board or enclosure. Use a wrench or nut driver sized to 4.5 mm across flats to seat the standoff without over-torquing the brass body. Apply thread-locking compound only if specified by the board manufacturer, as excess compound in the bore can compromise thread engagement with the mating fastener.
