The ELECTRO HARDWARE MP1061M03F21M3 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to mount and space printed circuit boards within enclosures, control panels, and electronic assemblies. It accepts an M3 x 0.5 threaded fastener on the female end, with a thread depth of 6.4 mm. The standoff has a 31 mm overall length and a 6 mm hex body width across flats, allowing installation and removal with standard hex tooling. Constructed from brass with a zinc plating finish meeting ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-B-626 Comp 22 standards, this standoff delivers corrosion resistance and reliable thread engagement in demanding service environments. It is installed by electronics assemblers, control panel builders, and field service technicians working on HVAC, electrical, and industrial equipment.
This standoff is suited for residential and commercial applications wherever PCBs require secure, repeatable spacing from a chassis or mounting surface. Typical use cases include HVAC control board assemblies, industrial control enclosures, and any panel build requiring metric M3 hardware. The partially threaded female design allows a machine screw to be driven in from the board side, locking the board at a fixed standoff height. The hex body shape keeps the standoff from rotating during fastener installation, simplifying single-technician assembly.
Designed as an OEM-style metric standoff for circuit board mounting applications requiring an M3 x 0.5 female thread and a 31 mm standoff height in equipment using 6 mm hex hardware.
Install and remove using a 6 mm hex wrench or nut driver to avoid rounding the body flats. Power down and de-energize all circuits before servicing any control board assembly. Torque the mating machine screw to the PCB manufacturer specification only — do not over-tighten, as brass threads can be damaged by excessive force. Follow applicable NEC or equipment manufacturer guidelines when working inside energized enclosures.
