The ELECTRO HARDWARE MP1049M19F16M3 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to create precise spacing between PCBs and mounting surfaces in electronic assemblies. Machined from nylon with a plain, uncoated finish, this standoff features an M3 x 0.5 female thread, a fully threaded interior running the full 25 mm body length, and a hexagonal body with a 6 mm width across flats. At 25 mm overall length, it provides a fixed, repeatable standoff height suitable for stacked board configurations. Electronics assembly technicians and field service techs installing control boards in HVAC, electrical, and industrial equipment commonly use this hardware during panel builds and PCB replacements.
This standoff is suited for metric fastener applications where a nylon, non-conductive spacer is required between a circuit board and a chassis or secondary board. The MIL-P-17091B standard compliance makes it appropriate for applications where military-specification nylon hardware is specified. Typical install scenarios include control board mounting in residential and light commercial HVAC equipment, industrial control panels, and electronic enclosures where metal standoffs would create unwanted electrical conductivity or add excess weight.
Designed for use with M3 x 0.5 metric fasteners in circuit board standoff applications where MIL-P-17091B nylon hardware is specified. Suitable for stacked PCB assemblies and control board mounting in electronic enclosures.
Power down and de-energize all equipment before installing or replacing circuit board standoffs. Use an appropriately sized wrench or pliers on the hex flats to seat the standoff without over-torquing the nylon body, which can crack under excessive force. Nylon hardware is not rated for high-temperature zones - verify the install location does not exceed the material thermal limits before use. Follow applicable electrical codes and equipment manufacturer guidelines when mounting control boards.
