The ELECTRO HARDWARE MP1019M06F16M4 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to create fixed spacing between printed circuit boards or between a board and a mounting surface. The standoff is fully threaded with an M4 x 0.7 thread size and a 10 mm thread depth, allowing a mating screw to engage the full internal length. The hexagonal body measures 6 mm across flats, making it easy to drive with standard hex tooling. Machined from aluminum alloy to material grade T3 and finished plain with a bright uncoated surface, this standoff is lightweight and corrosion-resistant for indoor electronic assemblies. Installation is typically performed by electronics assemblers, field service technicians, or electricians working on control panel builds.
This standoff is suited for metric-threaded circuit board assemblies in commercial electronics, industrial control panels, HVAC control boards, and similar enclosures where precise board-to-board or board-to-chassis spacing is required. The 10 mm overall length provides a common clearance height for component-populated boards. Its plain aluminum finish makes it appropriate for environments where anodizing or plating is not required. The part meets the QQ-A-225A Comp 2 fastener standard, which governs aluminum alloy rod and bar stock used in threaded fastener manufacturing.
Designed for use in metric M4-threaded circuit board mounting applications where a female-female or female-male standoff configuration is required. Suitable as a board-level spacer in standard electronics assemblies using M4 x 0.7 threaded fasteners.
Power down and de-energize any assembly before installing or removing circuit board standoffs. Use an appropriately sized hex wrench or nut driver on the 6 mm flats — avoid pliers, which can deform the aluminum body. Do not overtighten; aluminum threads can strip under excessive torque. Follow applicable assembly drawings and any relevant IPC standards for circuit board mounting hardware.
