The ELECTRO HARDWARE MP1013M06F16M3 is a female hex circuit board standoff designed to create fixed spacing between a PCB and a mounting surface or between stacked boards. Machined from aluminum alloy to the T3 material grade, it features a fully threaded M3 x 0.5 internal thread running the full 7 mm thread depth. The hex body measures 6 mm across the flats, allowing standard hex drivers and nut drivers to seat it securely. Overall length is 7 mm. The plain bright uncoated finish is suitable for general electronics assembly environments. This fastener meets the QQ-A-225A Comp 2 aluminum bar and rod specification. Licensed electricians and electronics assembly technicians working on control boards, inverter assemblies, and panel-mounted PCBs are the primary installers.
This standoff is used in light-duty electronic and electrical panel assemblies where metric M3 hardware is specified. Typical applications include mounting circuit boards inside HVAC control enclosures, variable-speed drive panels, and general industrial electronics chassis. The aluminum construction keeps weight low and resists corrosion in dry indoor environments. Because the thread runs the full body length at 7 mm depth, it accommodates a range of M3 screw lengths without bottoming out. It is sized for metric assemblies and is not intended for use with imperial-thread fasteners.
Designed as an OEM-style metric standoff for circuit board assemblies specifying M3 x 0.5 female hex hardware with a 7 mm overall length.
Installation is performed by electronics assembly technicians or licensed electricians during panel assembly or board replacement. Always de-energize and lock out the assembly before servicing any mounted circuit board. Use a properly sized nut driver or hex wrench matched to the 6 mm across-flats dimension to avoid rounding the hex body. Do not exceed the torque capacity of the M3 thread — aluminum threads strip more easily than steel, so hand-snug with a light final set is appropriate practice.
