The ELECTRO HARDWARE MMX1435M06-MSC is a male-male hex circuit board standoff designed to create fixed spacing between circuit boards and mounting surfaces in electronic assemblies. Machined from aluminum alloy at material grade T3 with a clear finish, this standoff accepts M3 x 0.5 threads on both ends. The overall length measures 20 mm, the body is hex-shaped with 5 mm width across flats, and thread lengths measure 5 mm and 6 mm on each respective end. The clear anodized finish meets QQ-A-225A Comp 2 standards. HVAC control boards, electrical panel subassemblies, and similar trade electronics regularly use this hardware during board mounting and service work.
This standoff is suited for metric-threaded circuit board stacking and mounting applications in residential and commercial equipment. Typical uses include securing control boards inside HVAC units, electrical enclosures, and other equipment where a rigid, measured standoff gap is required. The hex body allows standard wrench engagement for precise, secure installation without over-torquing the aluminum threads. Length tolerance is held to minus 0.150 mm to plus 0.150 mm, making this appropriate for assemblies that require consistent board-to-board or board-to-chassis spacing.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service standoff for any circuit board assembly using M3 x 0.5 metric threaded mounting points with a 20 mm overall standoff height.
Installation is typically performed by licensed electricians or electronics technicians during control board service or replacement. Always de-energize the equipment and discharge any capacitors before handling circuit boards or standoffs. Use an appropriate metric wrench or nut driver sized for 5 mm hex to engage the body without marring the aluminum finish. Avoid over-tightening, as aluminum threads can strip if torque is excessive.
