The ELECTRO HARDWARE MMF1811M06F16M4 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff machined from aluminum alloy to metric M4x0.7 thread specifications. It provides a rigid, electrically isolated spacer between stacked PCBs or between a circuit board and a mounting surface. The hex body measures 6 mm across flats, allowing installation and removal with standard hex drivers or nut drivers. Overall length is 19.53 mm, with a 10 mm hex body, a 9.53 mm male thread, and an 11.10 mm female thread depth. Material grade is T3 aluminum with a bright, uncoated finish that meets QQ-A-225A Comp 2 standards. These standoffs are used by electronics assemblers, field service technicians, and panel builders working on control boards and enclosures.
This standoff is suited for metric PCB assembly applications in commercial and industrial control panels, HVAC equipment electronics, and similar enclosure builds where precise board-to-board or board-to-chassis spacing is required. The male-female configuration allows standoffs to be threaded together in series or to accept a machine screw on the male end while the female end receives the next fastener in a stack. Length tolerance is -0.150 to 0.150 mm, making it appropriate where consistent standoff height across multiple mounting points is critical to board alignment.
Designed as a metric M4x0.7 male-female hex standoff for use in PCB assemblies, control panels, and electronic enclosures requiring aluminum hex spacers with QQ-A-225A Comp 2 compliance.
Installation is typically performed by electronics assemblers or field service technicians using a nut driver or open-end wrench sized to the 6 mm hex body. Power down and de-energize the assembly before removing or installing any circuit board hardware. Thread engagement should be firm and snug - do not overtighten aluminum threaded fasteners, as the material is susceptible to galling and thread damage. Verify board standoff heights are uniform across all mounting points before securing the final fasteners.
