The ELECTRO HARDWARE MMF1341M0616M25 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to create fixed spacing between PCBs or between a PCB and a mounting surface. The standoff features an M2.5 x 0.45 thread configuration, with a male thread on one end and a female threaded bore on the other, allowing boards to be stacked or mounted in a single fastening operation. Machined from aluminum to QQ-A-225A Comp 2 material specification at T3 temper, this standoff ships in an uncoated, bright finish. The hex body measures 4.5 mm width across flats, making it compatible with standard metric hex drivers. Electronics assemblers, field service technicians, and PCB enclosure builders install this type of hardware in control panels, instrument enclosures, and automation equipment.
This standoff is suited for use in light-duty electronic assemblies requiring metric threaded fasteners. The M2.5 x 0.45 thread is common in compact PCB mounting applications found in HVAC control boards, electrical panel sub-assemblies, industrial instrumentation, and embedded controller enclosures. The overall installed length of approximately 28.97 mm and a body length of 25.00 mm make it appropriate for applications requiring moderate board-to-surface clearance. The length tolerance of -0.150 to 0.150 mm supports precise stack height control in multi-board assemblies.
Designed for use in metric PCB mounting assemblies requiring M2.5 x 0.45 threaded hardware. Suitable for stacking or panel-mounting circuit boards where hex standoffs are specified.
Installation is typically performed by electronics assemblers or field technicians during control board mounting or enclosure assembly. Always de-energize and fully discharge any circuit board assembly before handling or installing standoffs. Use a metric hex driver or nut driver sized for 4.5 mm width across flats to avoid rounding the hex body. Do not overtighten - aluminum threads are susceptible to galling and stripping if excessive torque is applied without lubrication or thread inserts.
