The ELECTRO HARDWARE MMF1309M09F16M3 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to create fixed spacing between printed circuit boards or between a board and a mounting surface. Machined from 303 stainless steel with a bright uncoated finish, this standoff meets the QQ-S-763 fastener standard. The M3x0.5 male thread engages one mounting point while the M3x0.5 female thread receives a mating fastener or the next standoff in a stacked assembly. Overall length is 13.76 mm, body length is 9.00 mm, and the hex body measures 4.50 mm across flats for standard wrench engagement. Licensed electricians, electronics assemblers, and field service technicians install these during control board and panel assemblies.
This standoff is suited for use in residential and commercial control panel assemblies, HVAC circuit board mounting, and industrial electronics enclosures where stainless steel corrosion resistance and a metric M3x0.5 thread form are required. The hex body allows torque to be applied with a standard wrench or hex driver without slipping or marring adjacent board surfaces. It is appropriate wherever a rigid, measured standoff between PCB layers or between a board and a chassis is needed in a metric-fastener assembly.
Designed for use in assemblies requiring metric M3x0.5 threaded standoffs with a hex body; fits any application calling for a male-female hex PCB standoff to the QQ-S-763 standard.
Install and remove with an appropriately sized hex wrench or nut driver sized for 4.50 mm across flats. De-energize and discharge all circuits on the control board or panel before handling standoffs in an energized enclosure. Avoid over-torquing the male thread into a tapped PCB boss, as stainless fasteners in close-tolerance metric threads can gall - apply consistent, controlled torque. Follow applicable NEC or IPC assembly guidelines for board mounting hardware in the specific panel or enclosure type being serviced.
