The ELECTRO HARDWARE MMF1309M0321M25 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to create precise, stable spacing between printed circuit boards and mounting surfaces. Constructed from brass with a zinc-plated finish that meets ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-B-626 Comp 22 standards, this standoff delivers reliable corrosion resistance in electronics enclosures. The metric M2.5 x 0.45 thread runs on both the male pin end and the female threaded bore, with an overall length of 12.97 mm and a hexagonal body measuring 4.50 mm across flats. Electronics assembly technicians and field service engineers use this fastener when stacking or securing PCBs inside control panels, automation enclosures, and HVAC circuit board assemblies.
This standoff is suited for metric M2.5 fastener applications in both residential and commercial electronics enclosures. Typical install scenarios include PCB stacking in HVAC control boards, electrical panel sub-assemblies, and industrial control enclosures where consistent board-to-board or board-to-chassis separation is required. The hex body allows wrench engagement for secure torque-down without board flex. The 9.00 mm hex body length provides the primary standoff gap, while the 3.97 mm male thread extension engages the next level of hardware in the stack.
Designed for use with M2.5 x 0.45 metric fastener systems in circuit board standoff applications. Fits any assembly specifying an M2.5 male-female hex standoff with a 4.50 mm hex body and 12.97 mm overall length.
Installation is performed by electronics assembly technicians or field service personnel working on control board enclosures. Always de-energize and lock out the equipment before accessing any circuit board assembly. Use a properly sized metric hex wrench or socket to engage the 4.50 mm hex body - avoid pliers or adjustable tools that can deform the hex flats. Follow applicable IPC assembly standards and the equipment manufacturer's torque guidance for M2.5 fasteners.
