The ELECTRO HARDWARE 1443M09F16-440 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to create precise spacing and secure mounting between PCBs and chassis panels or between stacked boards. Machined from 18-8 and Grade 303 stainless steel with an anodized finish, this standoff meets the QQ-S-763 fastener standard. It features a 4-40 thread size, an overall length of 15/16 inches (0.9375 inches), a body length of 3/4 inches, and a hex width across flats of 1/4 inch. Licensed electronics technicians, electrical contractors, and OEM assembly professionals install these in control boards, HVAC circuit board assemblies, and industrial enclosures.
This standoff is suited for use in residential and commercial electronic assemblies where consistent board-to-board or board-to-chassis spacing is required. Common applications include HVAC control board mounting, industrial control panel PCB stacking, and enclosure-mounted electronics where vibration resistance and corrosion resistance are priorities. The stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for environments with moderate exposure to moisture or corrosive conditions. The hex body allows installation and removal with standard hex drivers or wrenches without marring surrounding surfaces.
Designed as a standard 4-40 threaded male-female hex standoff for use in circuit board assemblies, control panels, and electronic enclosures requiring inch-system fasteners.
Installation is performed by qualified electronics technicians or electricians during panel assembly or PCB service. Power down and de-energize all circuits before removing or installing circuit board hardware. Use an appropriately sized hex driver or nut driver matching the 1/4-inch flats to avoid rounding the hex body. Follow applicable NEC requirements and equipment manufacturer guidelines when working inside electrical enclosures.
