The ELECTRO HARDWARE 1443M06F16-832 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to create a fixed separation between circuit boards and mounting surfaces or between stacked boards in an enclosure. Made from 6061-T3 aluminum with an anodized finish, it provides lightweight corrosion resistance suited for electronics assemblies in control panels, HVAC circuit boards, and industrial enclosures. The standoff measures 1.125 inches in overall length with a 3/4-inch hex body and a 1/4-inch width across flats. The 8-32 threaded male post and female threaded bore make it compatible with standard machine screw fastener systems. Licensed electricians, controls technicians, and electronics assembly technicians typically install these during control board mounting or panel builds.
This standoff is used in residential and light commercial applications wherever circuit boards require a secure, elevated mounting position within a control enclosure. Common use cases include HVAC furnace control board mounting, panel-mounted PCB assemblies, and electronic equipment racks. The hex body allows wrench engagement for secure installation without slippage, making it appropriate for vibration-prone environments. The anodized aluminum construction keeps weight minimal while providing an electrically isolated standoff surface.
Designed as a standard 8-32 male-female hex standoff for use in circuit board mounting applications requiring inch-series fasteners and aluminum construction per QQ-A-225A Comp 2.
Installation is typically performed by licensed electricians or controls technicians during panel assembly or circuit board replacement. Always de-energize the enclosure and verify zero voltage before working on any control board mounting hardware. Use an appropriately sized hex wrench or nut driver on the 1/4-inch flats to tighten the standoff without damaging the hex body. Follow applicable NEC guidelines for control panel construction and ensure board mounting hardware does not create unintended electrical connections between board layers.
