The ELECTRO HARDWARE 1435M12F21-632 is a male-female hex circuit board standoff designed to create fixed spacing between PCBs or between a board and a mounting surface. Machined from Grade 2 steel with a zinc-plated finish meeting ASTM B633 Type 1 and QQ-S-633 standards, this standoff provides reliable corrosion resistance in electronic enclosures and control panels. The hex body measures 0.25 inches across flats, with an overall length of 0.75 inches and a body length of 0.50 inches. The 6-32 male thread engages the lower mounting point while the female thread accepts the fastener from the layer above, making stack-up assembly straightforward for electronics technicians and field service pros.
This standoff is used in residential and light commercial control board assemblies, HVAC equipment enclosures, electrical panels, and general electronic equipment where circuit boards require rigid, precisely spaced mounting. Typical applications include replacing damaged standoffs on furnace control boards, air handler control assemblies, and similar PCB-mounted hardware. The 3/8-inch thread depth on the female end and 1/4-inch male thread length provide adequate engagement for standard board thicknesses in these environments.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement hex standoff for circuit board assemblies using 6-32 threaded fasteners with a 0.75-inch overall spacing requirement in HVAC control panels, electrical enclosures, and general electronic equipment.
Installation is typically performed by electronics technicians, HVAC service technicians, or electricians during control board service or enclosure assembly. Power down and de-energize the equipment completely before handling any circuit board hardware. A standard nut driver sized for 1/4-inch hex or an appropriately sized wrench should be used to seat the standoff without over-torquing, which can strip the 6-32 threads or crack the board. Follow the equipment manufacturer's reassembly sequence when reinstalling control boards in HVAC or electrical enclosures.
